Welcome to Solis Yoga and Hypnobirthing

Hello and welcome!

I’m Emma and i run Solis Yoga and Hypnobirthing, i am a qualified Yoga teacher as well as a pre and postnatal Yoga teacher. I am also a qualified and fully insured KGH Hypnobirthing teacher.

I offer lessons in and around Surrey, I first discovered yoga about 15 years ago when I was looking for an escape from the stresses and strains of my busy daily life which left me feeling hunched and tight, I was suffering from regular migraines and could feel the negativity of the outside world seeping in to my body.

Yoga gave me a new lease of life, I found myself sitting at my desk daydreaming about my practise that evening and looking forward to yoga classes more than anything else. I could feel my body changing I felt so much stronger and energetic and I found that I could cope much better with stress and negativity as well as moving with more awareness and a deeper connection to myself. I feel yoga and meditation bought out my best side and taught me how to live my fullest life and opened my heart to new possibilities.

After regularly practising Yoga for a few years, I decided to take my practise one step further and train as a Yoga teacher in 2015 and gained my diploma with the Yoga Alliance. Since then, I have also taken my training one step further and undergone Pre and postnatal training through Yoga London in 2017 so I am now qualified to teach Pregnancy Yoga as well as Mamma and Baby Yoga Classes.

To me yoga means inclusivity, my priority is to make yoga accessible to everyone, this is how community yoga was born! The classes are discounted to make sure anyone who wants to experience yoga gets the chance to do so. All are welcome to my classes, there is something for everyone and you are always encouraged to go at your own pace and find connection with your breath and body to quiet busy minds. , It’s a community where we support, encourage and feel the power of yoga together.

What Students are Saying

K.Reed – Director at Viadex Ltd

“Emma is an amazing, patient and knowledgeable teacher. She has been teaching at our office for several years and we have all benefited tremendously from our lessons. Each lesson we focus on a different part of the body which makes for an interesting work out. The health benefits are almost surpassed by the mindfulness you experience during the lesson. “Emma is an amazing, patient and knowledgeable teacher. Each lesson we focus on a different part of the body which makes for an interesting work out. The health benefits are almost surpassed by the mindfulness you experience during the lesson.

We have also been fortunate enough to have Emma teach us desk yoga. It is amazing to learn how you can ease your aches and pains whilst not moving from your desks. If you’ve never tried this I would highly recommend it!”

E.Evason – Pregnancy Yoga

“I recently attended pregnancy yoga classes led by Emma at Solis yoga and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the moment I walked in, Emma created a sense of tranquillity that instantly put me at ease. Her gentle guidance helped me embrace the changes in my body, making me feel both comfortable and empowered.

Each class is thoughtfully designed to prepare us physically and mentally for the journey of motherhood. Emma incorporates mindfulness techniques that enhance the experience, allowing us to connect deeply with our bumps and bubbas.

One of the highlights of the class is the community aspect—I’ve had the pleasure of meeting fellow future mamas, sharing stories, and supporting each other through this beautiful journey. If you’re looking for a nurturing environment to practice yoga during pregnancy, I highly recommend Emma’s classes!”

E.England

“Emma is the most supportive, compassionate, and joyful teacher. Our yoga sessions are fun, relaxing, and challenging for body and soul. When i do Emma’s classes, i feel better physically and emotionally all week – and for someone who has multiple chronic pain conditions, this means the world. Emma is knowledgeable and passionate about yoga and encouraging her pupils to embrace yoga in whatever way they feel is right, i would recommend her classes for beginners and advanced yogis alike.”
